MATIRNE FAMILY REUNION
Greetings: We would like to take this time to inform everyone of the preparations for the upcoming family reunion. We have received an overwhelming response and we are anticipating this to be a great success. We have confirmation on our place of venue. It will be at the Erwinville Community Center, 5110 Rougon Road, Erwinville, LA. off of Hwy. 190.
Schedule of Events:
WHAT: Matirne Family Reunion Meet & Greet Celebration
WHEN: Friday, July 2, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.
ATTIRE: Casual
Program includes:
-A special memorial ceremony;
-An overview of the history of the Matirne family; and
- A brief slideshow presentation.
If you want your picture included in the slideshow, please scan your photo and email to Sybil Banks at pokey50usa@yahoo.com. All t-shirts will be given out on that Friday night during registration.
WHAT: Matirne Family Reunion Picnic
WHEN: Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 12:00 Noon
ATTIRE: Family Reunion T-Shirts (see family colors below) and Jeans, Khakis, or Shorts
*There will be water games and events. Please bring swimwear for kids.*
Program includes:
-Picnic & Games
-Door prizes and gifts
There will also be a photo shoot for families to take pictures. The fee is $10.
WHAT: Matirne Family Reunion Worship Service
WHEN: Sunday, July 4, 2010 at 8:00 a.m.
WHERE: St. Peter United Methodist Church
(77635 Pecan Street, Maringouin, LA.)
*After the service we will have our close out fellowship at the home of Bobbie Baise in Lottie, LA.
